A Mercy Paragraph Analysis 2
An analysis of the paragraph showed good literary devices and word choice. The imagery that was shown was hogs browsing the ocean shore turning it into dunes of sand where nothing green could ever grow again. A value for them was animal fur since it said they had a hunger for it. The other value was the expectations of the sachem's revised prophecy. Another value to them was swine because it was legal to kill the foraging swine but they were hesitant about it. A characterization of them was that they can spit out horribleness that would destroy all primary peoples. Another can be how Sir and Mistress tried to run their farm. There were some good word choices in the paragraph that were, childish hunger for animal fur and befoul sacred places. Like some literary devices that are already been said there was also a simile that was,"They would come with languages that sounded like dog bark."
A Mercy Paragraph Analysis 1
An analysis of the paragraph showed great literary devices and word choice. The construction of the house shows a imagery of the work that the people were doing. Mistress couldn't keep a smile of her face and everyone else was happy shows a great imagery of the joy the people had to work for Sir on making the house, especially Mistress. A value to Sir was the making of profane monument to himself, he didn't think of anything else will killing the trees and he was cheerful every waking moment. Another value would be the construction of the house because of how everyone worked on it out of the kindness in there heart, without someone begging them. There were also some good characterizations like how they say, "Stupid Sorrow gaping with pleasure." Another one could be, "And Sir-she had never seen him in better spirits. Some strong word choices that were in the paragraph were the, doomed sons, kill the trees, and profane monument. Like some literary devices already been said there was also a simile that was,"Florens mindless as fern in wind."

The Narrative Life of Oloudah Equiano and Of Plymouth Plantation Question #3
One reason that some Africans didnt prefer death to slavery because some were young and they didnt have that bad of conditions like the older Africans did. A reason for the Africans to prefer death to slavery was because there life was like hell. The lived in piles of crap in the boat with people dying in front of them and diseases going around.
The Narrative Life of Oloudah Equiano and Of Plymouth Plantation Question #2
The attitude and the behavior of the Europeans towards the Africans was beyond human. The treated them just like their environment on the ship which was crap. The slaves feared them a lot and were scared to do almost anything. They treated ina very wrong way and the Europeans just didn't care about them at all.
The Narrative Life of Oloudah Equiano and Of Plymouth Plantation Question #1
Equiano`s account of his journey to the New World compares with the Narrative of William Bradford in Of Plymouth Plantation with a few ways. In both they had a lack of food, which in Equiano`s story the crew threw out the leftovers as the slaves kept begging for it. In Plymouth Plantation lack of food was just a hardship of the voyage. Slaves died in Equiano`s story because of the food, the crew, and mainly cause of the environment on the boat. In Plymouth Plantation it was because they couldn't find enough food and scurvy which is lack of vitamin C.
