The Narrative Life of Oloudah Equiano and Of Plymouth Plantation Question #1

Equiano`s account of his journey to the New World compares with the Narrative of William Bradford in Of Plymouth Plantation with a few ways. In both they had a lack of food, which in Equiano`s story the crew threw out the leftovers as the slaves kept begging for it. In Plymouth Plantation lack of food was just a hardship of the voyage. Slaves died in Equiano`s story because of the food, the crew, and mainly cause of the environment on the boat. In Plymouth Plantation it was because they couldn't find enough food and scurvy which is lack of vitamin C.
